Q.
We had some hail recently in our
neighborhood. How do I know whether I need a new roof?
A.
Roofs take a lot of abuse not only from hail, but also
from sun, wind and extreme temperature changes. Distinguishing between weather
damage and hail damage takes a trained eye, and that's where we can help you.

Q.
I've heard of
fly-by-night roofing companies. How do I select a reputable roofing company?
A.
Don't be shy about asking questions. Ask for
references, and then check them out. Ask how long the company has been in business,
and whether you may stop by their office. What professional organizations are they
members of? Do they guarantee their work?

Q.
How long will it take
to have my roof replaced?
A. We usually complete composition
roof replacements in just one to two days, depending on the roofs size and
steepness and the type of shingles selected. Inclement weather may delay work on
your roof but, fortunately, we live in an area that has mostly sunny days.

Q. Is it necessary to remove the existing roof
layers on my home?
A. Installing a new roof over an existing roof
adds additional weight that may cause structural damage. A roof installed in this manner
may buckle slightly, and the double layer can trap moisture.
