1

Send insurance checks to your mortgage company immediately upon receipt if their endorsement is required. (Payment in full is required upon job completion.)

2

Check the color and type of shingles when delivered. Notify your sales representative immediately if the color and/or type is not what you ordered.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

3

Provide us with a number (cell phone, work, family member, etc.) where we may reach you if necessary.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

4

No one (you, your family, visitors, pets, etc.) should be in the work area until the job is complete and stray nails have been picked up with our magnetic roller. Use caution if necessary to enter/exit your home.

5

Because of possible vibrations from hammering, remove all breakable items (paintings, stained glass, plates, figurines, heirlooms, etc.) from walls, windowsills, and/or shelves.

6

Be aware that vibrations may possibly set off home security systems.

7

Park all cars, motorcycles, bicycles, boats, etc. out of the driveway.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

8

During wood tear-offs, cover attic contents due to shingles possibly falling into the attic.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

9

Protect free-standing and window air conditioning units from falling debris.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

10

Cover hot tubs and swimming pools.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

11

Remove outdoor furniture, potted plants, gardening equipment, etc. from around the house. We try to protect plants, but leaves and blooms may be knocked off.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

12

Do not loan your tools to the roofers.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

13

Since we use power tools, check circuit breakers daily during the job to make sure they are operating correctly.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

14

Upon roof completion, check heater/stove vents to make sure they are firmly connected. We will do this for you, at your request, if allowed access to the attic.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

15

Check for nails in your yard and driveway after job completion. We make every effort to pick up all nails with a magnetic nail roller; however, a few nails may remain hidden in the grass and shrubbery.

16

We take precautions to prevent gutter damage; however, damage is unavoidable at times, especially on very steep roofs or roofs that are completely surrounded by gutters. Your homeowners insurance should cover this damage.

17

Inclement weather may delay work on your roof.
