Seamless Gutters in Midland, TX

Seamless gutters and downspout on a brick home in West Texas

Gutters Built for West Texas Storms

Gutters do quiet work until a spring storm drops heavy rain in a short burst. Roofs by Nicholas installs seamless aluminum gutters and downspouts made on-site to fit your home, and we repair, clean, and add guards to the gutters you already have. We’ve been roofing Midland, Odessa, and Big Spring since 1988, and we install gutters as part of the roof system so water leaves the roof edge and goes where it should.

Why Gutters Matter in West Texas

Rain here tends to come all at once. Without gutters, or with gutters that are clogged or pulling loose, that water pours off the roof edge, soaks the fascia, splashes onto siding and brick, and collects next to the slab. Over time that shows up as rotted fascia boards, stained walls, washed-out flower beds, and water standing near the foundation.

Dust and shingle granules also settle in gutters between storms. A gutter that looks clean from the yard can be partly blocked by the time the next storm hits, which is why we look at the gutters every time we inspect a roof.

Seamless Gutter Installation

We fabricate seamless aluminum gutters on-site from a coil, cut to the exact length of each run. With no joints along the straight runs, there are fewer places for leaks to start. Each run is sized and pitched toward the downspouts, fastened securely to the fascia, and finished with downspouts placed to carry water away from the house.

  • Sizes: 5-inch and 6-inch gutters, with 6-inch for larger roofs and heavy runoff.
  • Colors: more than 30 colors to match your trim, brick, or roof.
  • With a new roof: we can replace the gutters at the same time, so the drip edge, gutters, and roof go on together and work as one system.

What to Expect on Install Day

  • We measure every run and check the fascia boards behind the old gutters. If the fascia is soft or rotted, we replace it before the new gutters go up.
  • We remove the old gutters and haul them away.
  • The crew forms each run on-site from aluminum coil, so every piece fits its wall.
  • Gutters are hung with hidden hangers screwed into the fascia and pitched toward the downspouts.
  • Downspouts and elbows go on, placed to send water away from walkways and the slab.
  • We run water through the system to check the flow, then clean up the yard before we leave.

Most homes are finished in less than a day. Every gutter installation and repair is covered by our warranty.

Commercial Gutters

We also install and repair gutters on commercial buildings, including offices, retail centers, churches, warehouses, and metal shop buildings. Larger roofs move a lot of water, so we size the gutters and downspouts for the roof area and place outlets where runoff won’t pool at entrances or loading areas. Gutter Repair

Most gutter problems can be fixed without a full replacement. We repair:

  • Sagging runs and loose fasteners
  • Leaking seams, corners, and end caps
  • Gutters that hold water because the pitch is off
  • Disconnected, crushed, or clogged downspouts
  • Hail dents and damage from fallen limbs

If a storm damaged your roof, we check the gutters and downspouts during the same inspection and include anything we find in your written estimate. If water is coming in now, call 432-520-7348. Calls are answered 24/7.

Gutter Guards, Extensions, and Cleaning

Gutter Guards

Guards cut down on clogs from leaves, twigs, and roof granules, so your gutters need cleaning less often. We install any type of gutter guard, on new gutters or on the gutters you already have, and help you pick the one that fits your roof and trees.

Downspout Extensions

If water is pooling near your slab or washing out a flower bed, an extension carries it farther from the house. It’s a simple, affordable fix.

Gutter Cleaning

We clear debris from the gutters and flush the downspouts so they drain freely.

What Our Customers Say

“After measuring for the new gutter on my storage building & the flashing repair on my patio he showed us the pictures he took on his laptop. Will also showed the type of flashing that would replace what was there & explained how it would be done. I was very impressed by him.”

Gutter Questions in Midland

  • What's the difference between seamless and sectional gutters?

Sectional gutters come in pre-cut pieces joined along the run, and every joint is a place that can leak or pull apart. Seamless gutters are formed in one piece per run on-site, so the only joints are at the corners and downspouts.

  • How often should gutters be cleaned in West Texas?

Most homes do well with a cleaning once or twice a year, usually in spring before storm season and in fall after the leaves drop. Homes under trees, or with older roofs that shed granules, may need it more often.

  • Do gutter guards mean I never have to clean my gutters?

No. Guards keep out most leaves and debris, but fine dust and granules can still build up, so plan on an occasional check and flush.

  • Can you put gutters on a shop, barn, or metal building?

Yes. We install gutters on metal buildings, shops, barns, detached garages, and storage buildings as well as homes.

  • Should I replace my gutters when I replace my roof?

If your gutters are old, dented, or pulling away from the fascia, replacing them with the roof lets us set the drip edge and gutters together and saves a second trip. If they're in good shape, you can keep them.

  • Do you work on gutters outside Midland?

Yes. We install, repair, and clean gutters in Odessa, Big Spring, Monahans, Pecos, and the surrounding Permian Basin.
